Ever since I discovered Lipton soup mix years ago, it has been a regular staple in my cupboard. I use it on almost all beef recipes. Whenever a recipe calls for onions or bouillon, I substitute the soup mix. I usually don't add extra salt, because it is already in the soup mix.
