Using Lipton Soup Packets to Enhance Everyday Dishes

Ever since I discovered Lipton soup mix years ago, it has been a regular staple in my cupboard. I use it on almost all beef recipes. Whenever a recipe calls for onions or bouillon, I substitute the soup mix. I usually don't add extra salt, because it is already in the soup mix. One envelope per two pounds of beef seems to be a good ratio.Here are some ideas for using Lipton Soup packets in your cooking.Ground Beef DishesBrown two pounds of ground beef. When it is cooked thoroughly, sprinkle one envelope of soup mix over it and add about 1/2 to 1 cup of water. Cook for about 5 minutes longer, stirring the soup mix in well. Could you imagine walking into a party and seeing the centerpiece in the shape of a huge flower filled with different Dips and Spreads, let's say a daisy and each petal is a different cheese spread.
